Skills Support for the Workforce - Greater Manchester

Commissioned by the Greater Manchester LEP and ESFA, Skills Support for the Workforce offers fully funded support to help you develop your staff through a range of training programmes which are tailored to your business needs.

We have a variety of accredited and non-accredited programmes to choose from in sectors such as Construction, Advanced Manufacturing, Retail, Business & Professional Services, Creative & Digital, Health & Social Care, Hospitality, Logistics, Low Carbon & Environment Goods and Services

These qualifications are aimed at individuals who would like to develop the skills and knowledge to progress within their chosen career. They are industry recognised qualifications, assessing both knowledge and competence that are transferable across a range of competencies. 

What we offer:

  • Analysis of current skills gaps in your business and tailored learning plans to meet them
  • Delivery of the qualifications within the workplace and with minimal disruption

Our programmes:

  • Accredited full level 2 and part level 3 qualifications are available alongside tailored support for your business
  • Can be used to develop basic skills in IT and digital
  • Include specialist support for businesses going through restructures and where staff are at risk of redundancy

Remote learning programmes

As a result of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, all our face-to-face learning has been suspended. However, we are now delivering a wide range of our programmes remotely, which includes using online technology, posting out the portfolio of work and providing support over the phone.
